10 things to do in Niagara in the summer

Niagara’s 2021 Canada Summer Games Bid was delivered to the bid committee in Ottawa on Tuesday, Jan. 31. With the bids from all four communities now submitted, the committee will be reviewing them for the next couple of months and making its final decision on a host community by the end of March.

If Niagara’s bid is successful, there will certainly be no shortage of things to do and see for the athletes, media and visitors who attend the games and are looking for fun things to do in the region during their stay.

Niagara’s 2021 Canada Games Bid Is In! Recapping Team Niagara’s Ottawa Road Trip

Team Niagara hit the road to Ottawa on Tuesday, Jan. 31 to deliver its 2021 Canada Games Bid to the bid evaluation committee – and we took some special guests along with us for the trip.

Let the Games Begin: Niagara bidding for 2021 event

It’s an axiom as old as sport. If you want to succeed, you better want it more than the next competitor — and you better be ready to work for it.

Niagara’s Canada Summer Games bid committee has taken that advice to heart.

5 Ways You Can Support Niagara’s 2021 Canada Games Bid

On Monday, Jan. 30, Niagara’s 2021 Canada Games Bid Group – called Team Niagara – will be taking a road trip from Niagara to Ottawa to submit the final bid to the Canada Games bid review committee.

Brock supports Team Niagara in bid for Canada Summer Games: The Brock Press

Brock University is partnering with a number of area groups and agencies to bring the 2021 Canada Summer Games to Niagara region.

The Games are rotated across the country every four years and 2021 is Ontario’s turn to provide the venue. Niagara will be up against bids from Ottawa, Kitchener-Waterloo and Sudbury to win the selection, in a decision expected this spring.
